There is a fresh air heater intake hose on ebay from a 83. Looks like it will fit my 72. Does anyone know for sure?

Thanks for the offer. My husband got tired of waiting for me to find one so he repaired the old one with two rolls of electrical tape. No holes now! With a new heater core, rebuilt box and some creative mods I'm hoping for a little heat. Anything is better than none.

Jerry, I was wondering if you could get a measurment off the duct/hose. On the 72-75 oval ducts the measurments are 4 x 6in or 17 inches in circumference. Is the 76 up hose anything close to this? Thanks

I was just at home depot and didn't see 6" dryer hose. all they had was 4" I did see 6" A/C duct. I wonder if that will work? I bought two different size hose extensions for a Rigid wet vac at home depot and they came with different adapters. I was able to plumb both of the round connectors this morning using the hoses and connectors from the Rigid kit. It turned out pretty decent and I can use the extra hose for my wet vac! Now all I need is the oval duct. I just had a guy at work tell me that the duct used to plumb kitchen hood vents was oval so I'm going back to home depot to look for some. We'll see. Thanks for the reply!!!
