19 or 30 spline?

    I have found much conflicting information on the 1969 cj-5 dana 44 rear. The consensus seems to be 2 piece axle shafts, but there is mixed info on the spline count. Some 4x4 parts sites want to sell me 19 spline gears, and others want to sell me 30 spline gears. Some even say some early have 19 spline and late have 30 spline. If someone knows for sure, please let me know before I have to pull it and count. thanks. BTW it is 3.73 ratio.

    If you have flanged axles they are 30 spline. As far as the 2 piece axle it should be 10 or 19 spline, if it is your original rearend for the 69 and you know that, it should be 19 spline.
