KINIK -- Welcome! I have a '53 M38-A1 with a Buick 231. I'm using the origional radiator with a flex fan on the crank and an electric fan between the grill and radiator. I drive it pretty hard in 100+ degree weather and I've never climbed over 200 +/-. The previous owner of my Jeep installed the Buick 3.6. I can't tell you exactly what it was out of or what year, but when I'm at the parts store, I just say that I have a 1985 Regal 3.8 and so far everything has bolted on just fine.. :)

Someday I'll get ahold of the PO and find out exactly what motor mine is.

    Again, welcome.
