    ok, ill helpm you out. the 18 shaft might be used instead of the 20 shaft.

    sorry dan, not a 6x6. mayby having the d18 output shaft in the pic is confusing. i put it in the pic because i may have to use it instead of the d-20 shaft you also see in the pic.

    super-mega-incredo-low gear addon to back of d18/20 that with engine at full throttle, it won't move fast enough to measure with a micrometer?

    YEP.............. an underdrive, or also known as a doubler. it will go between the t-18a and the d-20. i will have to build a case for it. the hardest part i am having right now is having an out put shaft that i can bolt another mainshaft gear to.

    I was thinking about this this morning.....well kinda.

    how does this sound.

    the quadratrac from jeep wagoneers had an optional low range box. wich was basically the 2.6/1 low range for a q/t transfer case.

    it bolts into the same location that a overdrive would on a d18. Hense the offset diffs on q/t waggy axles. maybe there would be a way to adapt this to a d18 to get the same results.

    just a thought. I might have to look into this some more.

    thats kinda a cool idea. i am runnin a d20 though, so it wouldnt work for me:(
