What is the going rate for a 1970 CJ5? It has American Racing wheels, 33 inch tires (about 70% tread), lifted, new paint, new seats, 6 cyl - most parts original. A roll bar was installed. It does not have top or doors - totally for summer play. No radio/cassette. A full size rubber mat was installed, new side mirrors. I don't know if I want another headache or not. I am still working on the Ross steering box on my 69.

Need location, that's one of the biggest factors independent of the condition of the Jeep.

How much Bondo/rust under that rubber mat?
If it's "normal" for Ohio, I'd say $2K-$2500.
Maybe less if there's alot of rust damage. Check around the taillight mount area, the step in the floor, the tool box, and under the floors on drivers/passenger side.
Use a magnet to look for thick bondo along the rockers.
Check for frame cracks at the frame horns and around the spring hangers.

If rust has been cut out and new metal welded in, then maybe that higher range of $3K-3500.
Keep in mind, a new top costs between $500-800, maybe you can use that as a bargaining chip ;)

No rust, it is a fiberglass body. Frame is excellent.

    How much is it worth?

When you’re talking about buying or selling older Jeeps or for that matter any older vehicle it’s all about desire. It really comes down to how much you want it and how much the seller is willing to part with it. It’s helpful to get as much background and advice as possible on a Jeep you intend to purchase, but in the end it comes down to one thing, desire.

I agree 100% with Chuck on this. BUT, if it is what you say it is, I'd guess in the $3500 range.
