Install a new gasket between the windshield and the body this weekend. There are, I think, 12 screws with washers that hold the gasket to the windshield frame. I only had 5. Also I noticed that I was missing 4 screws the hold the freash air intake grate on. Where do I find this type of hardware? Also, can someone supply me with the dimension to locate the rear view mirror on the windshield? Just want it to be "complete" as possible.

Have you tried your local hardware store for the screws? Is this a new windshield? If not are there any traces of the old adhesive where you can clean off and attach the new mirror in the appropriate spot? If it were me I would divide the width and adjust the height to where it would be functional for me to view out the rear.

Personally, I would prefer not having a rear view mirror at all and use the side mirrors and have full frontal view opposed to an obstructed (tire) rear view.

Edit:If you still rather have the measurements I will try tomorrow to have them for you.

Lowes has the screws necessary for reattaching the gasket between the frame and windshield. Look in the hardware section....automotive fasteners....I believe they were called trim screws; they came with washer attached.
