Vacuum hose routing

    Can anyone share with me the proper vacuum hose routing for a 74 CJ5 with a 258. I specifically would like to know where the distributer gets its vacuum from, the carb port or manifold vacuum. Also is it ok to bypass those CTO swithces?

    the distributer is supposed to be on a ported vacuum source. CTO depends on your local emmisions laws.
