Headlight trim ring changes?

    When did the headlight trim rings change?

    '70 or '71?

    Eugene has the earlier style while Linus has the later style.

    do you have an FSM ?
    they are handy as well.










    my book says mid '70 for the change.

    Unless there are more styles than I'm aware of, my 71 has the old stlye. Only two I'm really aware of are the non beveled (early) and beveled (late/intermediate). The 66 has the same type as the 71. Are there more?

    I did search what did you find that I didn't? R)

    Yup, I have a FSM, it's for a '69. Considering I have a '69 it seemed reasonable. ;)

    Wheelie, I was referring to the beveled that jut out past the edge of the light vs. the non beveled that sit below the light.
