I need to buy a CB and side mount antenna. Any help?

Do you have one of these....do you like it?
I have an old CB that is large....a smaller one would be nice....good price.

 

I picked up a new one from their local store (frys) for about $40 but haven't installed it.

When you decide on an antenna, remember to ground the mount to the frame. I use braided copper straps between the body and the frame. Keep these grounds as short as possible too. You won't be sorry.

 

look up a local cb shop and see IF they have any trade in's. got a good deal on both cobras (#142 w/side band in truck, #29 in jeep). both $100 or less.

 

Truck stops. My buddy is a trucker and turned me onto the truck stop sales. I got my Cobra 29 from a Flying J for $79.99.
