Everyone has helped greatly. It's running good now, but not quite right. I found that the number 2 and 3 cylinders are not firing right. If you unplugg the plug and pull the wire a little bit away, it starts firing and the motor smooths out...plug it back in and it runs rough....what am I missing here???????

    :?
Are the plug wires crossed between the cylinders ?
I know this sounds crazy, but it's possible.
other than the obvious, switching around the plugs and wires, my only other suggestion would be a carbon track inside the dist cap; this could cause both to fire at the same time; or other problem with dist cap/rotor.
Also check the connections on both ends of the plug wires

If it is the right firing order I would swap the plug with another plug and see if it swtiches cylinders and if it doesn't try swapping the wire that's where I'd start.
