 Time to slice and dice. I'm going to put a few new switches and a glove box on my dash. Any recommendations on tools or cutting techniques? :?

Unibit for holes smaller than 1" diam.

Use masking tape to protect the paint.

Sabre saw for larger holes with a very fine blade. Put a couple of layers of tape on the bottom of the saw to protect the paint. Careful - it cuts fast, and it's easy to stray from your line.
