Too many variables. Axle ratio, overdrive?, condition of engine, carb settings, ign timing, size of tires, etc.

Jeeps are not heavy so it doesn't take a whole lot to get it down the road. but the low gears tend to mess that up a bit.

I have only driven a 4 cyl once, and my jeep has V6 I have no clue. On top of that I have never actually checked the mileage of my rig! Maybe I aught to do that... someday.

It's really hard to pinpoint an average, but you should get at least 15. I've gotten almost 20 with the YF, but that was with a new carb. It's really tough to keep the YF adjusted just right though.

I was getting 15/mpg w/ no lockout front hubs and 12" wide tires. Now I
    have 10.5x 31's and lockout hubs and get 16.5/mpg. That's w/ a newer
    Solex.

At 30 mph I figure close to 20 mpg , at 55 around 10 mpg , so it varies alot.

Low power:weight ratio and lack of aerodynamics will make mpg very speed sensitive (or so I'd expect).

With the original YF 14 to 16 (mostly 14). With the Solex 17 to 18. That's with 31" tires, 4.88 gears, and new ignition components including the Pertronix. Normal driving, mostly city with some highway.
