Value in Valve Covers?

    I'm trying to make my engine look like the high quality 304 it is. The whole thing was rebuilt and is running great with only 9K on it. Is there any value, besides the look, at putting new valve covers on? The ones on right now are pretty beat up.

    Any recommendations?

    Might prevent leaks, and looking better is always a plus, IMHO.

    Find a Grand Wagoneer at the pick-your-part and take the valve covers. Paint 'em. You can stop the leaks from the steel covers by straightening them and using the rubber gaskets.
