Valve adjustment

    can anyone tell me what the valve adjustment is for a 225.

    225 does not need adjustment, they ar hydraulic.

    Yes they are hydraulic but the push rods are adjustible

    Push rods are adjustable?

    Gregg's right, they're hydraulic and shouldn't need adjustment.

    If you have adjustable push rods (I have them in one engine as well), run the engine for a few - pull the valve covers real quick and snug them up. Don't make them real tight just snug to take the slack out.

    You only need to do this if your getting some chatter.
