I've got my P.S. conversion kit and two-groove pulleys.
I just ordered a coupler kit for the lower steering shaft (manual st. shaft to p.s. box) and all looks well until I get to the p.s. pump mnt. :( The pump's steel return line is welded or soldered to the side of the pump as it goes down the side. This arrangement interferes with the pump mnt. that I got off a 80's something Cherokee.
Sorry, no pics. Has anyone had to re-route this tube??
    Any suggestions?? Thanks in advance!!!

I think it would be best to abandon that pump and get a regular sagi pump with the fittings on the back
    just my opinion
otherwise, maybe a radiator shop could move it/reposition it for you (heat and bend)

At a guess I would say the line you speak of is the return line. This, per say, doesn't have high presure and as such could be cut out and rewelded to the back by a compitant welder or shop. If you don't feel comfortable with this then ditto on what jpflat2a said.
