single wheeled 1/4 tonner

    Brings back memories. My Dad had one of those Allstate tag-a-longs that he'd tow behind his '62 or '63 Falcon wagon (170, Ford 2-speed automatic, the hill detector).

    There's a place for a pin in the wheel pivot so that you can roll it around like a wheelbarrow when detached. You have to remember to take the pin out before you drive, or else the wheel scuffs badly when going around corners.

    Cool notchback too.

    There are other mfg'rs of these. I guess the closest one to a 1/4 ton trailer that floats would be the Trav-L-Boat. It's a capped trailer that opens into two boat halves.

    I guess you could get busted by a Game Warden or Marine Patrol for having a busted taillight :rofl:
