I am getting ready to pull my T-18 transmission for a rebuild and had a couple of questions concerning repairs to make well the transmission is out.
First, is the rear main seal on the dauntless an easy job, like the 258, with the tranny out, i.e. just drop the oil pan.
Second, is it true that it's realtively cheap to ship a tranny to herm, it seems from his website it's really inexpensive. Any advice from people that have done this?
I plan on putting a new clutch, throw out bearing, pressure plate and pilot bushing in as well am I missing anything?
    Thanks everyone,
    Sean

Don't forget to have your flywheel resurfaced.

Nope. If you don't have a good manual, and plan on keeping the jeep for a while, I suggest you get one. It should give you a little more insight as to what you can & can't do.
