Need a new distributor for the 63 F-134 CJ6 but looking through the web cannot find an IAY distributor for sale? Some shops have a replacement dist but if I go that route, the shops can tell me if a Pertronix ign will fit. (even sent pictures to Pertronix, they were not sure..) arrgggg.. My question is, where can a get a new or rebuilt Dist which will also support a Pertronix ign module that will fit the 63 F-134? Also will IAY and IAD dist both fit the same F-134 without any changes??

    Any help would be appriciated

    tks.

I don't know how much you are willing to spend on a disrtibutor but I would seriously look into a D.U.I. (Davis Unifide Ignition) distributor. There is a write up in JP magazine on the install. It sounds like a pretty good deal after reading about it (no points, the coil is integrated, and water tight). I'm planning on dropping one in to the 55 as soon as I figure out what V6 was swapped in. I'm not sure if they make a distributor for the 4 bangers but it might be worth looking into.

    Thanks everybody..

I can get a new replacement from Krage motorsports. Looks like exactly what I need and after talking to them it will accept the Pertronix ignition.
