Performed the tasks from the CJ3b site to replace my generator with a delco Alternator (63 CJ 134 engine). No where does it say to install a volatge requlator... Do I need one or is it internal to the Delco alternator? If it requires a regulator does anybody have a wiring diagram to complete my project?

    Thanks.

If its internally regulated then you no, You do not need a voltage ragulator. Do you know what the Alternator came off of? or what it fits?

Don't know for sure but I think it's like the 78-80's chev alt. The jeep indicator light is working as they said it would... i.e. when I first start up the motor it stays on until I rev the engine then the light goes out. So it must be working.. Thanks..

No need for an external regulator with an Alt that new.
