extended brake lines

    anyone here know where i can get some extended front braided brake lines for my '70 cj? i bought some goodridge extended lines but they still arent longe enugh for my spring over, the rear line fits well and has plenty of slack so i dont know why the fronts won't work as well , thanks for any info

    go to a local Speedshop. A good one with be able to custom make you a set.

    I just had a set of nice stainless steel braided brake lines made up at a hydraulics shop.

    Pricey, but real Purdy :).

    Find out what your state inspection laws require before plunking down your cash. Many states have specific requirements for brake lines, such as being "OEM" manufacture, or specifically outlawing "homebrew" hoses such as braided stainless, even when they have the teflon lining in them. YMMV ;)

    Good idea to check the legalities. I ordered mine from a website, ANPlumbing.com. They stock all the braided hoses and hose ends. I just ordered all ready made stainless hoses with AN fittings the lengths I wanted and then got fittings to match. Prompt service and reasonable prices.
