If you need custom springs or u-bolts, I'd recommend State Spring in Grand Rapids.

I couldn't source a set of u-bolts long enough to get around the stock 11-leaf springs in SSDutch. State Spring bent me up a set while I waited, and they were a few bucks less than the aftermarket ones that didn't fit.

I found a local place to do mine as well. Don't think I'd go to a parts place again for u-bolts.

Who'd you find Bob? I'm going to need at least a set for the front axle soon.

They're over close to the Harbor Freight up here - kinda buried in the industrial sprawl. Nice guys.

Did you try napa. Oddly enough thats where I have gotten all of my u-bolts in the past. I just go in and tell them what diameter axle and how long they need to be and the just look it up in a book and order them. Half the time they have them there on the shelf. Just a thought.

My local Napa and the mom & pop shop have them in stock in about 50 different sizes, and if they don't I can get them in 1 day.

    Napa no got here.

Also tried the RV dealer, and fleet (semi) supply. No joy. It was an odd size to all of them.

State spring is a good outfit. Their Lansing shop replaced the front leaves on my motorhome a few years ago.

Muskegon Brake in Muskegon can make them for you also. They also make custom springs. Just FYI.

had a local semi supply bend mine. they didn't have the 7/16" stock that was short enough, so they asked if 1/2" would work and it does. only thing is, i had to redrill the mounting plate for the new u-bolts.
