I was fortunate enough to have found a "donor Jeep" that was a 50's era CJ-5 that still had a radiator in it a few days ago here in my hometown. Bought it, took it out, tested it and found a pinhole in the bottom. No biggie sodered it up and I'm good to go. except when I mounted it the lower hose outlet faces the Passenger side and my F-Head water inlet faces the drivers side. Is there a different water pump for CJ's vs. MB's, My engine is out of an MB originally.

    Anyone ???????????

good rad shop should be able to correct it. had the local one turn the lower hose on mine to better clear the now removed mech fan.

Ok I see what your saying but, the closest radiator shop is 300 miles away. Is there a water pump with an inlet that faces the other way??otherwise I'll have a 5 foot peice of hose for a lower rad hose...
