Does anyone know where to get a radiator besides 4WDH ? I don't want to pay $300.... Mine is shot and not recorable due to bad tanks. It is for a 67 v6 CJ5 with the narrow type rad. 18 1/2 " wide.

    Thanks,

Just for exercise, try your local radiator shop. one that does repairs should be capable of puting one together for you.

I bought one from 4WD hardware, made by Antique Radiator, and it is/ was junk, IMHO.

Best bet is check locally. See what the radiator shop can do for you.

    Thanks Guys,

I tried Radiator.com they want $400 + and Turner only has them for the 4 cyl. I guess I need to have one custom made or hold out until I find a used one.

    Thanks again.

I have a couple customers that own radiator shops. I asked one last week about what he could hook me up with for a decent modern radiator for the '55. Without hesitation, he knew which part number, the dimensions, the inlet and outlet sizes and locations, the mounting bracket setup, and that it would easily cool a small block with an electric fan setup that he also has in stock. He said that he sells that piece for about $250. Having that kind of knowledge local is handy, and it won't cost you a dime in shipping. Use a local guy if you a fortunate enough to have a reputable one nearby.
