alrighty, i thought getting the bracket off a 231 would have meant i was good to go. but, when i went to bolt everything up today... interference on the exhaust manifold with the bracket connecting to the rear of the PS pump. my first thought was to just cut it out, but the the pump would be sitting right on the manifold... another bad situation.

the bracket i got was from a smogged 231, air pump still sitting on top. i saw two or three more without the smog outfit, but figured i'd use that mount for something else in the future (i.e. OBA). did i figure wrong and need to go pull the second bracket, or should i be running some sort of headers to clear everything?

i just tried to get a picture of it, but my camera seems to have devoured another set of batteries... i'll try to post some pics of it later on tonight.

Pics would definitely help. I used the bracket off a 88 Buick Regal. But I looked at a lot of brackets on Buicks that I didn't think would work first. There are quite a few different configurations.
