    So,

I just got fed up with my stuck float on my 1 bbl CARTER carb on my 258 inline 6 and ordered a WEBER K550. Comes with the linkage kit and air filter. Would be interested if anyone experienced with installing this has advice on what else I will find necessary to make this work. My JEEP has the original 1bbl and a cable that extends from the throttle to the pedal. Also has the original air breather, in fact, all looks original beneath the hood (until you get to the suspension of course). Please let me know, will be arriving Wednesday, need to drive Thursday.

    WEBER K550-38 Ordered

So the 32/36 was out of stock. Ordered the 38. I have read that the 38 may run rich on the 258 during idle. Any suggestions would be welcome.

I used a cheep fuel regulator that you can pick up at any autoparts store. Also, stick with the mechanical fuel pump...I tried electric and could never get it to work correctly

The carburator is installed and running. Only dies at very large up angles now while idling. What is the cheap fuel regulator for?
