My existing tranny a t-box is shot. The tranny I'm swapping in sliding gear is a little rounded, is this too much or is it OK to run? Everything else, syncros, etc looks good. I think there's more rust in the tranny than my frame. :D

As long as there's no big hunk missing from a tooth, I'd say use it. You'd probably have a hard time finding a vintage gear in better shape.

the slider gear wear is normal
I have no problem with using it
    the rust concerns me more
any teeth pitted on any gears ?
I would also be concerned about front/rear bearing, needle rollers, etc.
front/rear bearing are easy to see/check; the needle rollers can't be seen

All the rust looks superficial and should just ware off, just my opinion. This is the first T-90 I've opened. I opened the one in the Jeep now and that was a wreck. I can't believe I was driving it around last year.
