    Rust in hat channels.

AMC 20 rear? Unless the tcase has been swapped out I'm not sure why you'd replace the 44 with a 20.

    Cracks around frame horns.

Sloppy steering. The usual that you see questions about here. ;)

A V6 in a '63 is an engine swap - the V6 wasn't offered from Jeep until '66 IIRC. Check the quality of the work, ie engine mounts, radiator and mounts, etc.

AMC 20 (M20 Corporate axle) came in Jeeps after 1976, so it's probably a Dana 20 TC. Not great - pretty much a cigar butt of an axle. Check that the gearing matches front and rear - the M20 would likely be 3.54s or 4.10s from the factory, while the 27 would be 4.27s or 5.38s.

well i looked at it finaly
and here is what i found

1963 225 odd fire mounts look damn stock to me its a dana 18 t-case it has a 20 from a 76 cj7 Q-trac the grars seem to match it runs 3200 rpm with 38s at 60 so there steep bastarts its locked front and rear and after i tuned the carb it runs sweet

now the bad i havent see no maney frame crackes in one rig sence my last chevy got hit by a train course i dident see them till i got it to the car was to presure was off all the crap on the frame the kid that owns it is really nice and i may still buy it for a few parts but as a whole the rig is trash with a few good parts

I think a '63 V6 would be the 198 ci version, but if it looks stock then the frame is from a '66 to '71. Either that or the guy was pretty good at fabricating. On a used jeep just because the title says it's a certain year really doesn't mean much as it's so easy to swap parts around on these things

Let me guess, the frame is cracked just behind the rear mounts of the front springs, the front shackle mounts, & the rear shackle mounts? Any place else would be due to severe abuse (as opposed to "normal" abuse lol!) IMO.
