tie rod durability

    Hi i saw at the tech section for the ECJ5 the article "Curing Bump Steer".
    I want to ask how long they last in comparison to the stock tie rod end.
    I'm tired of changing the one after the other.

    I haven't touched anything since I put 'em together a couple of years ago. Still as tight as new w/o any problems. Drives nicely.

    I don't think you should have any trouble as long as you get a good brand, like Moog or TRW.

    FYI- M38A1s had beefier tie rods and TREs I think there 5/8" threads not the 1/2" a civi CJ5 would have. Maybe that would help. :hurrican:
