solex carb

    alright guys after searching on here i finally found out what kind of carb that i have, now the question i have is do i just go down to a parts store and ask them for a rebuild kit for a solex carb or is there a specific type/part number i need, i have a 67 cj5 with the f-134

    Not sure if the hurricane solexes are all the same, but if you can find a tag or number on the carb that would be best. My guess(and I've never rebuilt a solex yet) is that the rebuild kit will have extra parts so they just have to make one kit for the various carbs.
    If you can't find one locally, then there are several places online who sell the whole carbs and also sell rebuild kits.
