drive train

    my 63cj5 has a 134 motor but what would the rest of the drive train be???trans,transfer case,front and rear axles ??

    Most likely what you have is: Tranny T90, T-Case Model 18, Front axle Dana 27, Rear axle Dana 44 It's possible you may have a Dana 25 front axle. I'm not sure when the first year for the Dana 27 was. If you look on the front diff web there will be either a 27 or 25 cast into it.

    63 will "probably" be a dana 25 front axle. And with the hurricane, 5.38 axle ratio. They did put 4.27 gearing in them, but I think it was in the later 60's they did that.
