Yup, not quite as active as the early jeep forum, but were gaining!

Stick with leafs. Theres quite a bit that can be done with them plus they are cheap and easy and unless your going hardcore wheelin they will perform just fine.

I run wrangler springs on the front in a springover configuration and am very happy with it.

    Good luck,
    Kevo

I had to do all that just to get it driveable. Otherwise you couldn't get over 25MPH without it feeling like it would rattle all the bolts out. The rear driveshaft was 15" long at resting (ride) height, and was on about a 19* angle. With the rear axle turned up so much to keep it from binding, there was no way to match the angle at the tcase. The CV joint was the only solution. It came from the front of a Quadratrac Wagoneer and I had it cut down at a driveshaft shop. The CV yoke is from the front of a Dana 20. Just make sure it's a "coarse splined" unit (10 splines).

No problems at all. I had to adjust the steering stops just a tiny bit. I also run 32x11.50's on my '71 and don't have any problems (both on 15x8 rims).

It's helpful if you put in your profile where you are located. I'm using Rancho shocks. Got them at Summit Racing. You need to know the "at rest" length eye to eye to get the proper length.

Active? Us? No way. We're not active. Not in the slightest. Our doctor keeps telling us to cut back on the caffine, but ha! What does he know, he wears a stupid white coat to work.
