For Sale Cj5 Total Part Out. Have A Look...

Health forces sale of project CJ5... Parts are as follows and are all located in SW Virginia.

-1958 rolling CJ5 frame, more or less ready to run. Drum brakes complete and working, F134 engine rebuilt and appears as new (reputedly 200 miles total since rebuild), T90 with small hole twin stick dana 18, rear dana 44 with 5:38s or so, dana 25 front. Frame exc painted, springs appear new, shocks also looking great, front and rear bumpers. Will come with Herm steering conversion kit (no box, shaft or column) and Herm dual res master cylinder kit (uninstalled). Currently has complete Ross box and linkages, but box is jammed. All in all, really straight and clean starting point. Has complete populated front grill and free leaking rad that could be patched. $SOLD or any reasonable offer. Could have title, but more upon inquiry.

- Used fiberglass tub and flip front end. Decent shape but will need paint/sealing. $500/offer Will come with lots of extras - repro seats, fuel tanks, gauges, dash parts, etc.
- 2 steel fenders with flares. Both excellent painted silver $SOLD each/offer
- Early cj5 hood with cutout for intake. Excellent painted silver $SOLD/offer
- 66 cj5 hood with windshield latch hoop. Good, straight, rust free, needs paint $350/offer
- 66 cj5 windshield frame with hood latch at top. Straight, rust free, needs paint $300
- 66 dana 44 rear and dana 27 front. 44 has locker, front unknown. both 3:73 gearing, low miles but rusty $SOLD/pair/offer.
- Rancho 5000 shocks, stabilizer and 4" lift springs. new, but dusty $SOLD/offer
- Kelly fiberglass hard top for early cj5. No damage or cracks, just old. Doors decent, all glass good, need hinges, one interior door latch handle broken. $500/offer
- brand new tires with zero miles (31x10.50R15) on gray painted jeep bolt pattern rims $SOLD/offer
- dana 20 twin stick exc, $SOLD/offer
- T14 exc, $SOLD/offer

Pictures of the tires on the painted wheels? Assume the chrome wheels and tires shown with chassis are another set.

 

Correct. Tires and chrome rims are on rolling chassis, extra spare on matching rim also included with rolling chassis. Here's the set on painted rims... one is pictured, but there are 4 new and matching in total. Tires are Corsair All-Terrains. Hell, I'll throw in a set of chrome lug nuts and 4 locking nuts with matching key.

No exrta rad... sorry... just the leaking one in the roller. Kinda surprised there's no interest in the chassis... it's in fantastic shape, honestly.

 

Can you narrow down location? "SW Virginia" doesn't tell me much.

I travel through the Southern end of Virginia several times a year on my way to WV.

That's the hard thing about large parts that can't be shipped - you have to find the right person at the right time. I've seen it happen time and time again on the forum, where folks have desirable stuff but can't even give it away. Then, a year later a bunch of folks are looking for that part.

AND-.................

A brand new 2011 Yanmar 2.0L mechanical turbo diesel engine with adapter parts to get it to mate up with a standard GM bellhousing and flywheel. More info on that shortly... should be an easy fit in any jeep, flat fender or otherwise. Engine cost me $4000, adapters, $1500, so $5500 firm is my price. Engine new is still available for $16,000 from Yanmar... this is an industrial military diesel. More info and pictures to follow...
