Lincoln/viking 3350 Adv Welding Hood

New hood. Old go to was the 3m with side windows and a great hood, but it’s old school now without the clear optics.

Flash me and was over 500 bucks, they sent me a new one, did the same thing. Really bad headgear too. They are both on the shelf and are gonna get thrown out.

ran a couple beads with this, worked great. Good headgear See how it goes.. has lots of bells and whistles. Bluetooth stupid stuff. Maybe it will be amazing…

 

Keen to hear a review of this. NP - can buy to replace my HF helmet. One of the risks of non-retirement with SS coming in.

 

I have one of these hoods, been using it about 3-4 months without any problems. the head gear is a winner.

 

So far I have used it 3 times with zero issues and headgear is nice.

 

I have the 4th gen version that has the c4 lens and the same head gear, mine doesn'thave the head light or bluetooth. The new generation lenses in all the major manufacturers new hoods are extremely clear and i like it a lot for tig welding. The Lincoln headgear is very comfortable and has plenty of adjustment to fune tune the fit. The side tension knobs tend to loosen after a full day of welding. But that is an easy fix.
