I know where there is a set of 4:27 64 axels out of my Tux, 9" brakes. I gave them to GI Joe he still has them I think. He lives about 50 miles North of Toledo O. in lower Michigan. Just saying I can ask how much he would sell them for if you want me to? Rick

The Tux should have had 10” brakes for ‘64 -up. This whole rear axle would be a painless swap (not hassling with gear set-up).

I had lunch with Richard at R&P yesterday and he said he thinks he may have the gears and shaft but would have to double check. He can be reached at 503-557-8911

The Tux I have was built out of two 64 Jeeps Donny. I got all of the parts my friend had with the Tux, the axels that were in the Jeep has 9" brakes. I put a 66 chassis in my Tux Clone, it has 10" brakes now, and I have 11" front brakes to put in when I change them. The Tux I have has been in my family of friends for over 40 years, my friend Donny H. had it at his cabin for 25 years as a plow Jeep, my friend Teddy Z. bought it from Donny H. and I bought it from Teddy Z. That is why it is so confusing it is a lot of parts, I gave them to GI Joe when I bought the 66 V6 Donor and a NOS F 134 Military 1952 motor. I didn't know 64 Tux had 10" brakes, Thanks for the info. Rick
