2gc Accel Pump

    What holds the whole assembly together? Is the plastic piston on the bottom just a press fit into the rod? I was my getting any fuel to pump and I popped the top cover off and the rod stayed attached to the throttle arm but the c clip and spring were loose and the piston end was down in the bore.
