I took a couple of short videos of my engine running with a vacuum gauge attached.

Here it is at idle (about 700 rpm):

And here it is at about 800 RPM:

    My questions are:

    1. Is the bouncing vacuum reading ok for an odd-fire engine?

    2. My meter seems to be bouncing around the RPM reading. Is this also normal for an odd-fire engine, or do I just need a better meter or am I just doing some thing wrong?

All comments are welcome. I just did a tune-up, the engine runs well, the plugs look good. I don;t have any complaints, just looking to see if this is normal or not.

    Thanks.

I'm not an oddfire expert but nothing strikes me as out of the ordinary. the fluctuation is small so I would check compression and go from there.
