Remember that there's 2 different bolt patterns depending on the axle type, tapered or flanged.

I have a big pile of 11" backing plates out in the shed. I don't think I still have any of the rear plates, but I'll look through them to see. You just need one ?

Pouring down rain today, so will probably be a day or two before I go out there.

I looked through my pile of backing plates, but all are front plates. Sorry.

I buy the 11" backing plates whenever I find them, because they are getting scarce. The rear plates with E-Brake are getting to be very scarce, but I like them because they open up the possibility of independent control of the parking brakes which makes for a very good traction aid on an open differential.

I bought a set off e-bay for the '71 literally the day before you posted this. https://www.ebay.com/itm/126410927917

There don't seem to be any there now, but it's worth checking often.

Yeah, they're not pretty in the pictures. Hoping they will clean up good enough when they get here.

Have you checked with BostonBob? He's come through on some hard to find parts for me.
Also there's FN Jeep here in CS.

This pair is available...only pic I got...look salvageable? It's mostly the little 'bumps' or raised pads that the shoe sits on that are concerning...$90 plus shipping...

I guess the question to the group is if we know how proud those nubs are from the surface?

Because I would grind the nubs away and replace them.
That said you should buy them.

The shoe pads are often gouged and can easily be welded up then refaced with a grinder.
In fact I never seen an 11” Bendix backing plate that did not require a resurfacing.
