75' the gas tank is new by the looks of it. I just noticed that there is no vent check valve in the driver side.

The PO or the person who mount it just plugged those 2 holes.
It runs fine so I don't know if I actually need the valve. Should I look for one to mount there? I'm guessing the gas cap is vented since it has a hole in the middle inside.

Also the fuel filler neck is mounted where the reverse light was, PO mounted newer style rear lights and moved the filler hole to where the reverse light was. The stock fuel filler hose looks kinked and it's very hard to fill up. I'm thinking of getting a flexible fuel hose with the same ID but then there's the vent hose which it connects to the fuel filler hose. Has anyone got an idea on how to do this easier?

You don't need the seperate vent with a vented filler cap.

With the fill tube you can make a metal Tee for the fill vent. Use a small length of hose to connect the T below the filler and the flex tube below.

That sounds better than having to cut the new flexible hose.

    Thanks for the idea
