    Took apart my 258 six cylinder. Since I’m a novice I was careful to bag and tag everything. Then had to unbag it and throw it in a bucket destined for the hot tank. This got separated. Where will it go when the engine parts come back to me. IMG_3872.jpeg

    If you have a serpentine vintage crank and you want to run V belt accessories, you have to use a spacer (Hesco #HESBS) behind the balancer for pulley alignment. Probably what this is.
