Checking to see if anyone has a trans inspection cover for a 225 Dauntless they would like to get rid of. If you do, please let me know.

    Thank you,

    Hank

I don't think the 225 has one with the BOP bellhouse

I am looking for the cover that goes at the bottom of the motor where it bolts to the transmission/starter area. It looks like this:

I see I can get one aftermarket but would prefer a factory one if I can find it. I have the factory bellhousing from a CJ5.

    Thank you,
    Hank

I don't believe I have seen one of these in the aftermarket world. I believe someone on here had a pattern for
one. It would not be that hard to make one up with some 16 gauge steel and cardboard aided drafting.
It would not have the pressed ridges for stiffening but those are not necessary.

Good find. Hard to go wrong and a very reasonable price.
You are correct. The trouble with the WTB posts is they do get purged making it difficult to do a search for the same item.
Nothing is perfect i suppose. :)

OK, I saw "new member" and only a few posts. None of those posts are in the INTO section so that's why I hinted at the link.

In my case, your link to the introductory thread does not work. It gives me an error code saying I need to log in and of course I was logged in.

I have a paper pattern someone sent to me years ago that I would pass on if someone can use it. I bought a parts jeep that had one so I never needed to use the pattern
