Yes it does, I just punch "mm" on the keyboard after the dimension. The "Jeep PT# A1007" used on the front and rear output is metric.

But the southbend lathe is only marked in inches on the dials.

I'll need to put a DRO and some stepper motors on it to sing.

    Seriously- I can't recommend the Clough42 setup enough- it's a game changer. I've since added some DRO's on the X & Y & that's another quantum leap in usability.

so what i'm seeing is a 6x6 d18 with a differential between the front 2 axles with a custom adapter to mate to an sm465?

sounds like the kind of thing i'd cook up in my caffiene crazed brain, just with a little more thought put into it.

It's a common file that will eventually have configurations. But yes currently it is sm465 awd with two speed pto for a powered trailer... lots of fine details to work out so don't go hogging all the D20 cases.

The initial idea here is to catalog all the parts in detail for identification purposes, simple sheet of d-18 gears through the years. Then I looked into making a sm465 adapter, there is also a scale t-90 project. This is also a subassembly for a model with all the parts I've drawn for my own jeep. Side panels, steering, suspension, I even have a 4.3l block mocked up. It's strictly educational and to tell omix there :poo: is wrong...

I'm impressed the D25 gears have held together, since they are driving the entire Jeep, not just the front axle.
Something that unique makes me want to dismount it, clean it up and display it in the man cave...........................

I'm sure it helps that the Jeep has 4.88 gears. The spiders in the center diff see about 1/5 the torque of the ones in the axles.
