DIY Bed Liners

    I just got my Jeep body back from the sandblaster and I am planning on applying Herculiner or equal to the underside of the tub, inside the tub and most of the outside. I have read their web site to see their instructions which say to scuff up the paint and clean it well.

    My question is how would this stuff stick to bare sandblasted metal?

    Is this stuff just as good as "professional" spray on?

    Should it be at least primed first?

    Not as good as pro, no.

    I primed the bed of my truck, now Sandhill's. Then put it in. That seemed to make it stick even better than it did in the TJ when I scuffed it up.
