The rear bearing drops into the case. Tight but not tight enought to stop it from seating on it's own when case is on end. It also slides on the mainshaft with no effort. I'm guessing I have a bunch of good parts (gears) for someone but I need a new tranny.

    Howdy.

Sounds like you're going through a similar mess to the one I've been undergoing for some time now.

When my T14 and D18 simultaneously detonated, I was left with not much more than two good cases and a bunch of scrap metal.

I rebuilt the D18, but instead of rebuilding the T14, I decided to invest my money into an SM420 + Novak adapter. First + 4-Low + 31" tires + 3.77's just isn't enough for me, so I'm hoping to see how the SM420 granny gear does. This plan is more work, and will end up costing a bit more than the T14 parts I needed (almost $500)... But I think I'll be happier in the long run.
