Early (pre-‘54) body with no corner tail lights, but has ‘57 Maverick/‘58-up stainless trim. Nothing convincing to verify a Vette 283. -Donny

 

Really should be a factory recall on corvettes for losing their engines to jeeps.. Maybe they are possessed or werewolfs or something.. Silver bullets or stakes to the oil pan to keep them in place. I dunno..

 

I had a buddy who's dad put a "corvette engine" in his cigarette boat in the 90's. I always thought it must have been the coolest thing to do as a kid. Now looking back...... meh

Makes me want to try lost wax metal casting, of 4.3l v6 corvette valve covers, using 3d printed forms...

It's too tall for the low 'Vette hood line, you have to use an L head

 

The next Willies jeep I build is going to have a corvette engine, 4 speed transmission (1,2,3,R) warren overdrive, warren wench, black wheels and angry eyes. Ohh, maybe I'll graft toyota front suspension on to an S10 rear frame and then do 4 wheel steer and then once I realize how dumb of a project this is, I'll sell it for 100x more than what any of it is worth and say I don't need to sell or need help selling it.

Ahhh, it's common knowledge ALL early sbcs swapped into Jeeps are former Corvette power.

 

what a mish mash mess! Early body, post 60 trim (NOT Maverick) and enough rust to make it worth about 2K at best. Note lack of interior pics. Guessing the early SBC is hooked up to a t90. Corvette engine; yeah right. I don't see block numbers posted(?)
