I would agree to the point if everything else is stock. That said, I pilot my 3B at 75 all the time. With 4.11's and the OD, it is just putzing along at that speed. But a couple of extra cylinders there and way better brakes and steering-----

Not sure if this addressed to me, but:
I’m not sure if I said this in this thread or not, but 65 to 70 is the max i’d go. I’m throwing out a lot of numbers for comparison, and I should’ve kept said numbers consistent.

When I bought the Jeep I drove for an hour at 65-70 on the way back home. It did fine through some moderate wind and hills, although my hands got pretty cold as it was <30 degrees. The brakes are fun though. I locked then up at probably 35-40 mph for a second while I was in the center lane turning into our neighborhood, and that was kind of scary, but thankfully I’m naturally inclined to pump the pedal rather than wait for ABS to work.

I used to drive my standard 3B / overdrive at 65mph all the time. I ran them long and hard at that as my normal hiway speed. And yes I have had it up to 81 mph at 4000 rpm. Not really a fun ride at all.
I worry about the hood catching a strong wind gust and the steering ….well you know.

My current and final 134 powered Ross steering 3B is still on its break in mileage. I’m running it a solid 55mph at present and will likely go up after the 500 mile break in.
