I need new tires on my cj2a..

They look fine, but they aren't.. I was coming up a twisting hill on asphalt last week at about 35-40 MPH, back end got squirrelly and it turned me around but not before smashing head on into a telephone pole. No damage other than ripping off my license plate and a slight bow to my front frame. 2X4 frame is quite strong...

Anyway I have BF Goodrich 35x12.50r 15s on it now. They are like 8 years old and need to go.

Whats everyone's opinions and should I go to 37'S I can probably fit them fine.

37's you'll have to go up in rim size. Time to ditch the spacers and go wider track!

Yep, you'll need to go up to 17" wheels for 37s.

    Dagggg!!!!! Glad you're okay.

You may be opposed to going up on wheel diameter to fit the 37s but I think that, maybe, with the stretch of your tub, the 17" wheels and 37s might look quite proportionate. There may be something on one of the tire sites that could help you visualize it or maybe you could do something with a photo app that would let you see your jeep with that combo on it.

Glad you're ok, at least you kept the greasy side down. The KM3's run small, so the 37's are easier to fit on a flatty. When mine are aired down they are 35". I think you might have to trim the rear wheel opening.

Looks like Maxxis, Toyo, and Interco are still building 37" Tires for 15" wheels, if you don't want to go to 17's. At least according to Summit Racing. Not all of them are radials though.
