Dauntless Crank Pulley Question

Hi Jeepers. The mounting area on my balancer has these nubs between each blot hole.



The pulley I need to use has only bolt holes.



I do have this part from another pulley that I could use as a spacer.



The spacer was on top ,not under, the original pulley. Using that spacer also throws the alignment out a little bit. Should I use the spacer as a template to modify the new pulley? or just keep it under the pulley and ignore the slight misalignment? or bolt the new pulley on and ignore the nubs?

Any input/suggestions are appreciated.
