I’ve looked at the “Where to find parts” thread and came up with one possible source for the spring mounting brackets: Throttle Down frame builders might sell them separately…

I’ll need four each of these:

From the measurements of them, the front & rear are the same pieces.

Some are badly rusted and the fixed end mounts are worn inside from the bushings being worn out, and the spring eyes ground into them.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Merry Christmas you all of you!

    Thank you, Jw60.

I did find the shackle end mounts at The Jeepsterman, where I’ve purchased a pile of stuff for my Willys wagon, so they’re ordered.

The pivot brackets at that site are for CJs up through’71; did Jeep go the 7/16” bolt with the ‘72 and up? I still have 1-3/4” leaf springs…

The two above vendors have mounts for 2+ inch leaf springs; not sure I can use those

My son’s’81 had 9/16” spring bolts. Somewhere, things changed.

I think omix "makes" those. The ones I ended up with that came with the Holbrook springs were 3/16" thick material instead of the original 1/4" and the spring/hanger bolt bores weren't even perpendicular to the mounting holes. In short, more crap. I ended up fabricating my own. My front shackle bolts are 1/2 & 5/8", the rears-1/2". The bolts are made from McMaster-Carr's grade 9 bolts, drilled/threaded for grease zerks and used with Delrin bushings.

Today, I fired up the welder and repaired the pivot hangers. I welded up the grooves and then ground them flat. I trust the original steel more than the Chinesium replacements from the various vendors.

The new shackle mounts should be here in a few days, so I can get those on the frame.

I’ll see about photos tomorrow (or some day).
