Can someone direct me to a link or post that shows how to install a kill switch, and/or fuel cutoff. Also, is it advisable to do both? Appreciate it.

for a basic cutoff switch, it's just as simple a re-routing a wire to and from a toggle switch somewhere, instead of going directly from the fuse (or ground) to the item in question. Could do the coil wire, or fuel pump wire.

If you have an electric fuel pump the simplest thing to do is put a toggle switch between it and the ignition terminal on the key switch. If you want to be elaborate then you would wire in a oil pressure switch on the motor that is rated for the job instead of the toggle. The ignition can be wired the same but really the concern should be fire prevention otherwise if you turn sharp or climb too steep it can leave you in a pickle.

I've wired, by customer request, a momentary push button into the bottom of the cigarette lighter. This was the ground for the starter relay, not good for fat fingered people. I believe you can't stop them all, but in my personal perspective, if I can delay them long enough to improve my sight picture I'm good. I've thought about using the emergency brake warning switch as a ground control for a relay control. Think of things normal people wouldn't think of. Good luck, Ron

Wire the horn to brake lights. They won't get far.

Ah dang, I misread it as safety measures.
They make Bluetooth relays... I've been tempted to replace my fuel pump or tbi relay with a blue tooth version.

@Focker had a keyless mod if I remember.

Most car thieves nowadays are youngsters, most of whom don't even know how to drive a straight shift car, and would be totally bamboozled by a vehicle with 3 or 4 gear shift canes sticking out of the floor. Putting the transfer case in neutral would foil most of them.

The traditional way is to put a cut-off that breaks the ignition coil ground side. When mine was a daily driver I had a switch on top of the steering column just behind the dashboard. These days you can probably hide it in plain sight alongside the other switches and either don't label it or make something up for a dummy label.

I have a hidden cut off switch, a valve in the fuel line, a battery disconnect switch, and a padlock on the hood.
All of those can be defeated by 2 guys with a pickup truck & tow strap :(

Turn signal flasher in the ignition primary circuit and a dpdt switch to bypass it.
