Looking for a complete heater control for early CJ (1966). Would prefer good, working condition.

    Al,

Most of the vacuum push button heater controls are missing the tear drop shaped knob to charge up the minions running in the squirrel cage.

I have a couple complete controls that I took apart, cleaned and put back together, sans the knob. I made some knobs using black aluminum sand blast media a little oil and JB weld. The knobs are a real blob job and I've not refined them much. The guys with the 3-D printers could prolly knock those out pretty darn quick like.

I'm not sure where these controllers are at the moment, might take me a few days to root around and find one. The bezels are painted gloss black. You'll need to head to the local crafts store for some white sticker letters, then put in place, and it'd be a good idea to clear. I had a rebuild thread on them somewhere ages ago, and Focker had one as well.

Someone might beat me to the punch and get you one sooner which is fine.

If you get everything but the knob... I could print one knob, if the guys here are able to share the file. I'll be at the fall willys reunion in Fulton MO.

Thank you! I appreciate all the info. I am in no hurry. Just getting parts rounded up. I have a 1966 CJ-6 with Perkins diesel I am about to start restoring. Wanting to go back stock and it was missing the controls. Just let me know when you can. Al

IMG_2317.jpeg I have one, complete with knobs, no letters but it’s still attached to my jeep (see pic).
I am planning on removing control, blower motor and core housing, just hasn’t been a priority.
Have no idea on value, pm me if interested.
